A journey of discovery…

Honour Under the Southern Cross

G’day guys,

Have been doing some basic sketches lately and just thought I might share a couple. Just quick sketches on my iPad while waiting for appointments, or during breaks etc…

"A Long Way From Home"

"Dawn Patrol"

"Honour Under the Southern Cross"

Hope to be back soon with some more information on the Rise of the Occulites, but it might be a bit quiet for the next week as my girlfriend and I get married next Friday!

Cheers,
Ben.

Thanks Michael, glad you like them.
I might try having a play with my graphics tablet to get some higher res sort of sketches. But the iPad has been great for while we’re out.

Thanks for the congratulations Michael and Bob – after 12 years, I think its time. Lol 🙂

Hey friend, congrats on your upcoming wedding! Been a bit out of the loop regarding the occulites, but of course I hope you guys enjoy yourselves to the fullest and don’t you even think about touching these little critters until after the honeymoon (and all that fun business) is taken care of.

Hope you guys have an absolute blast!

Thanks mate, if you wanted to get up to speed, feel free to send me a bunch of questions and I can answer them for you. But basically, Dawn – Rise of the Occulites is the subject of talks with a large boardgame publisher in the US which is exciting, I am putting together an external playtest kit for Dusk – Rise of the Occulites II, there is a spin off “Dice of the Occulites which is playtesting really well so far and then work is still plodding away on Time of the Occulites.
The biggest news is the talks with the boardgame publisher. I think that will help to launch the Occulites into the spotlight. So fingers crossed! 🙂

Also, due to both of us being teachers and it being assessment/reporting time, there’s no honeymoon until next year. 😦 So I’ll continue to keep working away on the little critters. 🙂
      Cheers,
      Ben.
