A journey of discovery…

Rise of the Occulites in SBH

G’day guys,

While you are waiting for Dawn – Rise of the Occulites to be released (and for those of you who just love Song of Blades and Heroes), I have put together the some profiles for SBH. Currently, the file contains profiles for the Palaudis Tribe and the Luftles. As more tribes are released, I will add in more profiles.

Song of Blades and Heroes is a great game in its own right and Dawn will be a very different game, so I think its great to have models that can be used in more than one game. So without further ado, please download the file here:

Rise of the Occulites in SBH Part 1 – Palaudis and Luftles

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Just updated, put the old stats in for the Drummer and Palaudis Chief. All fixed and uploaded. If you have downloaded already, please do so again for the correct stats.

  3. Big thanks for this.

A few thoughts on the document:

The Bard rule comes from Arthur & Merlin – some folks may not have this
Did you think of Forester for the Luftles – no real reason bar from the ‘plants’ on top of the drawings…
With the tribes moving from cave to cave how about Mountaineer skill from Wind and Water

I always play gregarious should be included on the leader as well as the troops (house rule)

Hurry up with the game 🙂

    No worries Andrew :D,

The Bard rule is from Arthur and Merlin – it allows the model to use one action to give the ‘Hero’ ability to one model within 1xMedium for its next turn. If that model already has Hero, it counts the special twice (two auto successes).

I had thought of Forester for the Luftles, but really wanted to keep the profiles simple. Floris tribe members will get Forester.

Please feel free to add Gregarious to the leader if you like (we don’t play that way though). But really, these stats are just suggestions (and have been tested). Feel free to play them however you like (and share the stats with us! 😀 )

Playtesting on Dawn continues – expect to see some video footage and game explanation in the coming month. I am very excited about Dawn and look forward to sharing it with everyone.
